The world, Sunday morning

FINAL BOSS, LeagueApps count, TODAY

Sun Nov 1 is the WeHo deadline. If the team does not have 8 registered in LeagueApps by midnight tonight, FINAL BOSS loses the Sin City Classic team spot.

The live count is still UNKNOWN from this side. Only your LeagueApps login shows it. Open LeagueApps, screenshot the roster, and either (a) send Darby the count or (b) tell Darby who still needs a nudge.

Standing evidence from 10/13: 5 reported Oct 2, Werten individual reg Oct 3, team transfer unconfirmed. Three more may still be open.

VC jersey cutoff expired yesterday

The 20 percent VC jersey window closed Oct 31. If you did not place the order, this slips to full price. One decision today: order at full, or let it go.

Related: last night you asked for a 23 Heally version of the jersey system we picked, and said the Callie-approved jersey should be the Boss Rush and website default. That is on the board for this week, not blocking today.

Operation Godfather landed

Adam's birthday video shipped Mon 10/27. He called you back inside the hour. Bo photos found, family tree threaded in, bespoke, no draft. That one is clean on the ledger.

The week back

Yesterday you asked for the week handed back as a story. It's at gordonusc.github.io/week-of-10-31. Seven chapters, one standout quote per day. The closing frame left your Monday night question open on purpose: what do you do for you.

Owed a reply, 1 person

Eric Francksen wrote Oct 27, you last wrote Oct 26. Light touch today, Gmail only (not iMessage, he is Android). One sentence will reset the thread.

Quiet 29 days, 1 person

Sinjin Bain, last outbound Oct 17, no reply since Oct 2. Not alarm, cadence. A low-cost 'what's the shape of BFF this quarter' note is enough to keep the line warm.

Foster, animal video series

Seven messages Fri + Sat about a cat driving a car, bopping its head, Lovecraft angle (Tsathoggua). He wants a series. The council has it. Darby is drafting the Higgsfield + Blender plan, will surface the first draft Monday morning for your YES before any ship.

Alex Rogers, scholar verify

Six names Alex could not find online: Aiden Rodriguez, Lucas McShane, Laila Carter, Morgan Odutola, Wellington Owen, Erith Oliveira. Thursday you said answer thoroughly and lovingly, use Higgsfield and Canva and Blender to make it even better, it made him smile. That package is still in Darby's lane, not Alex's. Status is in progress, next check Mon.

Teaching, Monday Nov 2

You teach tomorrow. CTIN 463 Fall 26. The Jadeja Sugar Series lecture is on the calendar. If you want Darby to pre-stage the room (slides check, roster print, timed warmup), say the word today and it goes.

On the horizon, 5 days out

Nov 6 to 8, Greater Palm Springs Pride, 40th annual, theme 'Be Included'. Parade Sunday Nov 8 10:00am Palm Canyon Drive. If you want to go, Darby can route Joe's weekend and your Monday class so nothing collides.

On the horizon, 8 days out

Nov 9, your birthday. You turn 56. Gordon-shaped choices to tee up this week: who you want in the room, who you want on the phone, what the day is for. The council will not plan it without you, but will hold the slots open.

One bite for the open question

Monday night 10/27, you asked yourself what you do for you. Here is one small concrete bite that costs nothing today: 15 minutes of Minecraft Bedrock before dinner, on the Gordtopia build, with no agenda. You said this one lives on your own schedule.
